All the action from Day 2 of TVS MotoSoul 5.0

The fifth edition of the TVS MotoSoul festival took place this year, spanning over two days in Vagator, Goa. While you can read about all the action from Day 1 of the festival here, Day 2 of the festival was when TVS made a few crucial announcements, which included the unveil of an AR-enabled HUD (head-up display) for bikers, a partnership with MT helmets and the launch of the TVS Racing Offroad Training Academy. Read on to know more.

The Aegis Rider Vision Helmet incorporates AR

Aegis Rider Vision Helmet

The Aegis Rider Vision Helmet was showcased at TVS MotoSoul, and it incorporates AR (augmented reality) technology, using spatial anchoring to project essential information like navigation cues, speed, safety alerts, and notifications, directly into the rider’s line of sight – which means that they don’t have to take their eyes off the road while riding to see their phone or even the speedometer. The helmet makes use of a binocular µOLED projection system which features lenses that are magnetically attached to the helmet and can be removed for ease of cleaning or for using this as a conventional helmet (without the AR tech).

Also present in this helmet are integrated action cameras (one at the front and one at the back, to record your ride like a dash cam in a car), wireless connectivity, adaptive brightness, end-to-end OTA updates and a 7000mAh battery within, chargeable using a USB Type C charger with an approximate charge time of 2 hours. This helmet pairs with TVS motorcycles through a companion app which allows riders to customise the information that is displayed, and the helmet has a carbon fibre shell, developed with Nexx Helmets, with the helmet itself weighing 1.6kg. The helmet also meets the ECE 22.06 and CE certifications for crash safety.

The MT Helmets range will start from ₹5,999

Partnership with MT Helmets

TVS Racing and MT Helmets have entered into a partnership which was announced at the TVS MotoSoul Festival. MT Helmets are known for their ECE-certified helmets, and the range of these helmets will start from a price point of ₹5,999.

TVS Racing Offroad Training Academy

On Day 2 of TVS MotoSoul, TVS Racing launched its Offroad Training Academy which is designed to help riders develop foundational off-road and adventure riding skills. The academy will be led by TVS Racing champions and international instructors, focussing on a Level 1 programme which will include bike handling, terrain navigation, body control, balance and obstacle riding. The programme is also designed for amateur riders with limited off-road experience, offering a structured path towards mastering the craft.

The various activities at TVS MotoSoul included a helmet painting experience

In addition to the announcements, the action kept on brewing at the various zones of the festival, including the dirt and flat track arenas, art installations, graffiti walls and even a helmet painting experience. Drawing the two-day festival to a close were performances by the artists Lagori and Nucleya, and we cannot wait for the next edition of TVS MotoSoul, which is scheduled to take place on December 4-5, 2026.
