Daily essentials: Otterbox Defender mobile phone case

I’ve always been a sucker for good cases for my phone. I have owned the Otterbox Commuter Wallet case in the past and it actually allowed me to live life without carrying a wallet. But times have changed; I’m no longer living abroad and India, though becoming Digital India, is still away from completely barring currency notes.

Also, the ADV bug seems to have hit all of us at work. I’ve been wanting to upgrade to another Otterbox case and nothing can be as protective as the Defender. You see, when you’re riding off-road, you obviously come in contact with a lot of elements. The case, as the name goes, is drop proof, dust proof, scratch proof and also has a holster. You can mount the phone on the bar or even your clothing. Usually if I’m mounting my phone on the handlebar, I’m always worried of it falling and breaking but that does not happen with the Defender case.

The case is obviously, large-ish and adds a lot of weight to the lightweight iPhone 7 that I own. But obviously, an iPhone is a always a big investment and what better than an Otterbox case to protect it. You can also order Otterbox cases on Amazon India unlike earlier when you had to ask your US based relative for favours. Too expensive you think? It’s definitely worth the money I’d say.
