Tested: Bosch Go screw-driver

Humans are growing lethargic by the minute. I mean seriously, if you cannot even muster up the strength to turn a normal screwdriver to tighten up some screws, Bosch has the product for you – the Go. It is the latest in the company’s power tools line-up for the country and retails for Rs. 2,399.
As the name suggests, using the tool is pretty straightforward. Attach the right bit, push the head on the desired spot and let it do the job. You get to choose from 33 pieces of attachments ranging from Phillips head to a flat to an Allen head. There is a switch along the instrument to switch from tightening to loosening screws or leave it in the middle for manual operation. There is also a torque-adjustment knob on the top portion to adjust the speed of the process.
It does come handy in unscrewing unwilling screws. Just try out the process first in the lowest torque setting and then you may want to progress on to a faster setting. Proceed with caution though, as you may end up damaging the item. Bosch provides a charger along with it, which is done by means of a micro-USB cable that charges most Android phones. A full charge should take under an hour. Two tops.
Should you pick it up? Well if you fall under the category of people mentioned at the start of the piece, then yes. Join me and we’ll both get our own units. If you are still the manly-man who would rather flex his muscles through the job, then don’t.
