Day 24 – Renault India Diamond Trail – Guwahati to Siliguri
The Renault Kwid is back from servicing and we resume chasing the horizon on the India Diamond Trail. The car feels as good as new and our crew too has rested well.

The service people at the Renault dealership in Guwahati were very co-operative and friendly. The officials picked up the Kwid from our hotel in the morning and the car was ready within a few hours. As the Renault workshop was on our way to Siliguri the next morning we decided to pick up the car by ourselves instead of requesting the Renault executives to come in the opposite direction. The GM at the workshop too was very warm and welcoming. Upon our request, he got our car serviced on priority.
The drive to Guwahati was under heavy rainfall, poor visibility and partially bad patches of roads. The Renault Kwid however held up well with its headlamps providing great illumination and a sorted ride keeping us comfortable. The Bluetooth infotainment system in the Kwid has kept us entertained throughout the drive. It’s an absolute must-have when you’re spending long hours in the car.
