The man has won everything you could imagine in India’s off-road events for nine years. Now as he returns to the country after his second Dakar attempt, C S Santosh hosts the Dune School for riders who aspire to follow his footsteps. Associated with Northern Motorsports, the Dune School will take place on 12th February, at Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Santosh has dominated the Indian off-road on his motorcycle, winning the toughest race in India — the Raid de Himalaya in 2012 and the Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm in 2014; both on his maiden attempts.  He became the only Indian to participate and complete the Dakar rally in 2015 as he brought home his privateer KTM in 36th. He received support from the Suzuki Factory Rally team for the 2015 BAJA Aragon rally, a part of the FIM BAJA World Championship. His 13th place finish in the rally cemented his role in the team which helped him to return to Argentina for the 2016 Dakar. Unfortunately bike issues thwarted his chance to finish the race. Santosh also runs his own rider-training academy close at Kolar, Karnataka.

Registration for the school begins with the last date for enrollment being 31st January. The first 20 students will have receive a discounted fee of Rs. 5,000; the next 5 — Rs. 10,000 and the remaining 25 — Rs. 20,000.  The registration and further details are available on www.motosport.in
