Honda has opened bookings for the updated City at Rs 21,000, before the car’s launch on February 14. The update is just a mid-life refresh and not a generational change.
Both the front and the rear of the Honda City have been given a mild nip and tuck for this model. The nose has been tweaked slighly with the addition of a thin chrome strip on the bottom of the grille. The headlamps have been made sharper and the bumper is reshaped as well. In fact, the top-of-the-line City will get full-LED headlamps and foglamps. The rear has been tweaked as well, with updated tail-lamps with LED inserts and a refreshed bumper. The top-trip car will get new alloys too.
While this car is not expected to have any mechanical changes, equipment on the inside is updated as well. The City gets a new touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and a mobile mirror feature. The engine options remain same as before, with a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine.
