Bookings open for the Jeep Compass Trailhawk at Rs 50,000
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India has opened the bookings for the Jeep Compass Trailhawk. Enthusiasts interested in the Trail Rated SUV can now book it at a fully refundable price of Rs 50,000. Bookings are open across all of the FCA all-brand showrooms across 70 Indian towns and cities.
Styling upgrades for the Jeep Compass Trailhawk
Noticeable styling changes on the Trailhawk include the black anti-glare decal on the hood, redesigned front bumpers in order to increase the approach and departure angles, Trailhawk monograms at the front and the rear Ruby Red tow hook at the rear which makes it capable of pulling out a vehicle 1.5 times its gross weight.

It comes with a low range gearbox that provides plenty of bottom end grunt while off-roading. Also, the transmission is now a 9-speed automatic one that is also offered in many of Jeep’s international models.
Not to mention the car also gets 4X4 along with various terrain modes like, auto, snow, mud, sand, and the newly added ‘rock’ mode. The Jeep ‘Active Drive 4X4 low’ is the additional ratio in the drivetrain which provides more traction in off-road conditions like crawling past a rock or driving out of deep depressions in the ground.
Powering the Compass Trailhawk
The SUV is powered by the same 2.0-litre Multijet II turbo diesel engine that produces 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. This engine is future proof as Jeep has made a series of enhancements to the motor to make it BS VI compliant. Also this BS VI engine is capable of running on BS IV fuel until 2020.
