Auto Expo 2016: Aprilia bring scooters to Indian with the SR 150

Performance oriented brand Aprilia reveal their latest product for the Indian markets — the SR 150. The moto-scooter is Aprilia’s first scooter in India and also the smallest displacement motor in their line-up. The scooter will be manufactured at the Aprilia’s parent company — Piaggio’s plant in Baramati, Maharashtra.

The SR 150 is a cross-over between an entry level motorcycle and a scooter as it bears sporty lines and panels with large 14″ wheels to propel forward. The 150cc engine is peppy enough and judging by the looks of it the SR 150 will be agile and nimble, making it a pleasure to commute within the city. A 220mm front disc and 140mm rear drum brake setup has been adopted for the SR 150.

Alongside the new Aprilia SR 150, the Piaggio Group exhibited the most representative vehicles from Moto Guzzi and Vespa brands.
