#BestOf2017 Performance Car- Ferrari 812 Superfast

The successor to the F12, the 812 Superfast one-ups it in every aspect. The earth shattering performance that it boasts of, combined with the drivability of a GT car were qualities hitherto unused in the same sentence. With a 0-100kmph time of 2.9 seconds and 789bhp to play around with, it is one of the fastest cars out there, but it doesn’t mean that the 812 Superfast is a difficult car to drive as our Editor Sirish Chandran found out in the hills of Modena. The 812 Superfast is derived from the F12 tdf, but loses all of the hairiness of the F12 tdf and comes across as a supercar that can be driven everyday and can still surprise and shock you in equal measure with a light prod of the accelerator. A plethora of electronic nannies ensure that you don’t embarrass yourself and end up looking at a wall, and with that sort of power its presumably easy to do that. The 812 Superfast makes it on this list because of its ability to be a GT and at the same time make people without the driving skills of a Lewis Hamilton have fun with it on the track and on a public road.
