Ford Bronco to make a comeback!

At the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Ford Motors announced the comeback of the iconic Ford Ranger pick-up truck and the Ford Bronco. The company has confirmed the 2018  Ford Ranger will debut in US markets in 2019.  Ford also finally confirmed the revival of the Bronco name tag with a new global SUV that will also hit US markets in 2020.

Ford has described the future Bronco as a ‘no compromise mid-size 4X4,’ which implies that it will be more rugged than the current SUVs in Ford’s stable. The company has not officially released any pictures or technical details, except the fact that it will be underpinned by the same platform as the next-gen Ranger pick-up and will be manufactured at its Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan.

Ford also showcased the new 2018 F-150 along with the company’s future plans to introduce 13 new electrified vehicles by 2021, which will include hybrid versions of the Mustang and F-150.
