Mercedes-Benz Luxe Drive’s Pune edition was held over the last weekend in Magarpatta City. The event mainly allows potential customers to experience the German carmaker’s complete line-up all under one roof, and is being held throughout the year in various metros across the country.
The Pune edition was host to Maria Goretti, the Master chef, along with Gauri Khan designs’ exclusive store. With this event, Mercedes-Benz intends to allow the customers to understand the lifestyle and class of the brand, thus adding to its value. All the guests were treated to a series of short drives, inclusive of the complete line-up. The complete SUV range was put through a series of obstacles such as a 45-degree hill climb and a 35-degree ramp that allows for a maximum departure angle. Then there was a slalom course, which allowed the customers to drive a car of their own choice, which includes the likes of A-class, CLA and GLA. The final driving event was a safety demo, in which, expert drivers demonstrate the benefits of ESP and ABS on Mercedes-Benz cars, by putting the passengers through a series of breath taking 360-degree spins.
Along with the driving experience, customers could also indulge in delicacies prepared by the celebrity chef, Maria Goretti or try out official Mercedes-Benz merchandise, at the event. There was also an on-the-spot evaluation program set in place that allowed for instant exchange offers on used cars, getting the best deal available to buyers.
The Luxe Drive is a series of events that is being held since March and has already been a huge success in over 11 cities, so far. The next event is scheduled to happen at Indore on 3 & 4 Dec.
This is a great initiative by Mercedes-Benz to connect with customers in class-B and C towns. The Pune event that we attended was a massive hit, as we could see humongous amount of crowds flocking in to get a taste of the Mercs.
