Moto Guzzi MGX-21 and V9 Bobber and Roamer launched

Piaggio has launched two new Moto Guzzis, The V9 and the MGX-21. The Bobber and the Roamer are both priced at Rs 13.60 lakh (ex-showroom Pune) whereas the MGX-21 is priced at Rs 27.78 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The V9 will be available in two different variants, a Bobber and Roamer.

The V9 Bobber 

Both the Bobber and the Roamer will be powered by a 850cc twin cylinder Euro 4 engine with 55bhp of power and 62Nm of torque and is mated to a 6 speed soft clutch gearbox. The Bobber and the Roamer will come fitted with ABS, traction control as standard and will come with an engine immobilizer and USB charging port as well. On the looks front, the Bobber and Roamer have many differences. The Bobber has bigger tyres and comes in all-black form while the Roamer looks more like a custom motorcycle.

The V9 Roamer 

Nicknamed as the ‘Flying Fortress’, MGX-21 is powered by a 1400cc V-Twin engine which provides 95bhp and 121Nm of torque. The cruiser comes with ABS, traction control, cruise control with three different riding modes, Veloce (fast), Turismo (touring) and Pioggia (rain). The bike also has a 50 watt stereo with MP3 compatibility and smartphone input, and AM/FM radio.

The Harley 48 and 883 are the only competition to the Moto Guzzi V9 and the MGX-21 can be compared to the Harley Davidson V Rod priced at Rs 22.3 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
