Ashok Leyland launches two new offerings, the Guru and Partner

Ashok Leyland, one of India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer announced the launch of its latest Intermediate Commercial Vehicle (ICV) and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV), named Guru and Partner, respectively.

The Partner is available with a payload capacity option of 6 tonnes or 7.2 tonnes . Buyers can also opt for the first-in-class Heated, Ventilated and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system and a whole other range of body types. It is powered by the ZD30 commonrail diesel engine (CRDI), compliant with BS-IV emission norms. Apart from all this the Partner comes with  power steering, cable operated gas shifter and  a warranty of 3 years or 3 lakh kilometres for the engine and transmission.  A standard warranty of 1 year or unlimited kilometres is also a part of the standard package.

While, the Guru is available with two payload options, 12 tonnes and 13 tonnes and is fitted with the H series CRDI engine which are compliant to both BS-III and BS-IV emission norms. The cabin is also fitted with a first-of-its-kind sleeping provision for the driver in the cabin of the truck. On the outside the ICV gets LED parking lamps as standard along with an all metal asymmetrical front fascia.

Ashok Leyland will be selling the Guru and Partner in a phased manner across their pan Indian dealerships.
