Audi Q3 gets more power and features

Team Evo India

Audi India has added more power to the Q3 diesel with the car now pushing out 184 horsepower, a 4 per cent increase over the pre-update car. This gives the Q3 with the Quattro system a 0-100kmph time of 7.9 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than before. The gearbox has also been updated to get it quicker off the line. Even the front wheel drive Q3 now makes 150 horsepower and is 0.6 seconds faster than before in the 0-100kmph sprint.

Besides being faster, there’s more to the Q3. Since the Indian market is such a fan of sun roofs, a panoramic sunroof is now standard in the Q3. 17 inch alloy wheels are standard, and all variants get LED headlights with LED DRLs. The FWD Q3 costs Rs 34.2 lakh and the Quattro equipped Q3 costs Rs 37.2 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

The Q3 takes on the BMW X1 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA in the compact luxury SUV segment. The recent design updates have made the Q3 a much nicer car to look at and now the added performance makes it a better all-rounder to take on the new X1 and the GLA.
