Harley-Davidson’s lifestyle store now open

Team Evo India

Harley-Davidson’s first ever lifestyle store in India has been opened at the Mumbai Airport. The Mach-1 Harley-Davidson will cater to travelers heading out of the country as it is located at T2, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Spread over 500 square feet, the store is populated with official Harley-Davidson merchandise and apparel. Riding jackets, boots, helmets, t-shirts, caps, key chains, bottle openers, gloves and sunglasses are available to add to your wardrobe. Even cell phone accessories have been put on display for the next-gen.

At the launch event, Vikram Pawah, MD of Harley-Davidson India commented, “We are thrilled to launch the Harley-Davidson showroom offering the most exclusive and iconic merchandise to Harley enthusiasts. We are now striding towards bringing the brand closer to the people who someday aspire to own a Harley, offering them a taste of the true Harley-Davidson lifestyle known world over. Charting out every customer touch point, we aim to connect with and make the brand more accessible to a growing aspirational audience, welcoming them to the Harley family.”

Since its arrival in India in July 2010, the true-blue American chopper maker has seen its popularity grow from zilch. The Street 70 has brought in the masses while the V-Rod and the Breakout are bringing in the classes. With over 23 dealerships spread across the country, Harley is on a roll and with the Milwaukee engine expected to power the upcoming motorcycles, things are expected to go uphill from here.
