So you think the Huracan Perfomante is insane?  Meet the new Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo. It may just change your opinion. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo was recently unveiled at an exclusive event in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. At the event, Lamborghini also announced its new partnership with watch maker Roger Dubuis, and the car features graphics which denote the same.

Developed by Lamborghini’s motorsport department – Lamborghini Squadra Corsa, the Super Trofeo Evo racecar is the Huracan in its most extreme configuration. It is specially developed for the 2018 season of Lamborghini’s one-make Super Trofeo series, to be held in Europe, Asia and North America

The ‘Evo’ in the name denotes that this is an evolution of the previous generation Super Trofeo car. Powering this track monster is the same 5.2-litre V10 motor borrowed from the last generation model, but with a host of upgrades. Performance upgrades include a new BMC air filter, three-disc racing clutch with lightweight flywheel, 9-way adjustable traction control, 12-way adjustable ABS, Six gear sequential X-Trac  gearbox, Ohlins TTX 36 2-way dampers and Motec M182 ECU. The most striking updates are on the outside, it gets a completely new aero kit developed by Dallara Engineering, featuring an extended front diffuser, a massive rear wing, an air-scoop on the roof and a shark fin at the rear. As a result the downforce has improved drastically.

And if you were wondering, yes! You too can participate in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, you just need a Super Trofeo Evo racecar, which, by the way is priced at 235,000 Euro (plus tax) in Europe and Asia, and 295,000 USD in America.
