Team Evo India

Mercedes-Benz is now focussing on strengthening the after sales service of its AMG models and is set to offer the AMG pit stop service in all AMG performance centres throughout the country. AMG pit stop service will offer fast, personalised service for all the AMG cars. Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated the first AMG pit stop service in Pune, to celebrate 50 years of AMG.

The AMG pit stop services will feature exclusive AMG bays styled like motorsport pit stops to give the ambience of servicing a high performance car. The service technicians are specially trained in Affalterbach and Mercedes-Benz training academy. They will be using specialised tools and kits for servicing the AMG cars. Customers will also be able to interact with the service experts and watch their cars being serviced. In case of non-availability of spares, they will be imported without any extra charge.

Commenting on the AMG pit stop service, managing director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, Roland Folger, said, “Mercedes-Benz India has been on a determined drive to create tangible service differentiation for its customers and relentlessly innovate through its service offerings. The importance of personalized service experience is a key enabler in driving customer satisfaction in the luxury segment and we want to offer it to our AMG and Specialty cars owners. The dedicated AMG Bays across the 7 APCs will have highly personalized and prioritized service with shortest turnaround time, and aim to create a service experience which is as delightful and satisfying, as driving an AMG. The inauguration of the dedicated AMG Service Bays is a strategic decision that will help create customer satisfaction and will strengthen our commitments to our AMG customers.”
