Geneva Motor Show preview: Skoda Kodiaq

Skoda launched their full-size SUV Kodiaq last year in the European market and received a decent response from the market. The Czech manufacturer has decided to add two more variants to the Kodiaq’s line-up, which will be showcased at the Geneva International Motor Show tomorrow

The Sportsline is based on the Ambition variant and gets a blackened grill, side mirror housing, roof rails and window trims. The alloys though are a mixture of matte black and silver finish. The driver seat has a  memory function, and the interiors are loaded with alcantara elements with a Kodiaq logo on the dashboard. Apart from the leather covered multifunction wheel and the pedals are forged in aluminum. The display shows G-forces experienced, turbocharging pressure, the current engine output and coolant temperature.

The Scout trim on the other hand gets a silver theme. There are silver skid plates at the front and rear,  a silver grill, side mirror housing and roof rails. The alloys are finished in a silver paint as well.

The standard equipment on both the new variants is the same with the options of 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TSI in petrol and 2.0 TDI in diesel with all-wheel drive. The Kodiaq is expected to be launched sometime later this year in India.
