Ford showcased its latest infotainment interface SYNC 3, at the Consumer electronics Show (CES) in 2016. After almost a year, the new Endeavour gets this system and will only be available in the top-spec Titanium variant.

The new SYNC 3 interface is the most advanced version of Ford’s in-car technology. This new communication and entertainment system is faster and easier to use with better response to voice activated commands according to Ford. SYNC 3 brings with it a host of new upgrades, which includes a new 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, making it easier and safer for users to access messages, music and tend to calls without getting distracted while driving. Similar to a smartphone, SYNC 3 comes with pinch-to-zoom and swipe gestures as well.

Similar to the company’s previous SYNC interfaces, SYNC 3 gets Ford’s Emergency Assistance feature. In case of an unfortunate event, if the airbags deploy, the system will automatically call emergency services from the paired phone. It hence is advisable to pair your phone at all times.
