TVS ARE GP began in 2007 as a platform for TVS Apache customers to try competitive racing in a safe and professional setting. In 2023, TVS Racing turned it into a structured championship, and the 2025-26 season took it abroad for the first time, across India, Mexico, Colombia and Nepal, with the finale at the Madras International Circuit in Chennai.
Season 3 adds three new countries, Morocco, Egypt and Ivory Coast. TVS expects more than 1,200 participants across 20 cities, and says the championship has already reached 20 cities and more than 4,000 participants since it began. The final is planned for Chennai on 11th April 2027, and the rest of the calendar is tentative.
Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor Company, said, “For us, this is not simply about expanding the championship’s footprint, but about extending our racing culture, expertise and standards to riders across markets, while creating opportunities for emerging talent to experience competitive racing.”

In the customer class, men race in the ARE GP 160/180cc and 200cc categories on the Apache RTR 200, and in the 310cc category on the Apache RR 310. Women have their own customer category in the 200cc class on the Apache RTR 200, which depends on participation. The media classes follow a similar pattern, with women racing in the 200cc category on the Apache RTR 200, and men in the 310cc category on the Apache RTR 310, split into separate novice and expert classes.
