2025 Tesla Model Y styling and interior

The Tesla Model Y has been available globally for a while now and the design has been largely unchanged. The Model Y that comes to India bears the updated face and LED light bar that is in line with the styling of the Tesla Cybertruck and the Tesla Robotaxi. Move to the side and the Model Y gets 19-inch alloy wheels on the India-spec cars, with removable aero-optimised inserts that look like wheel covers, while the global-spec cars also get the option of the 20-inch wheels. Move to the rear and the Model Y gets full-width tail lamps that seem to mimic afterburners, and overall the design of the Model Y is one that is clearly unique. The Model Y is offered in six colours, with the Stealth Grey colour being offered at no extra cost while the other colours are an optional extra. The Model Y gets two colour options for the interior, with the all-black colour scheme being standard and the dual-tone black and white colour scheme being an optional extra.

The Model Y also gets dual-layered acoustic glass, wrap-around ambient lighting, ventilated seats, a powered recline function for the second row seats and a hands-free function for opening the trunk. The Model Y also gets 2130 litres of cargo space and the Tesla gets a frunk, in addition to the traditional boot. The Tesla also gets two screens, a 15.4-inch infotainment screen and a 8-inch touchscreen for the rear seat passengers. The Model Y also comes with full-self driving capabilities as an optional extra, though we have been told while the car possesses the hardware necessary for the function to operate, the functioning of this feature will be subject to Indian government regulations.
