Porsche introduces a new Cayenne Electric variant, positioned above the base Electric model bringing some aesthetic revisions

Porsche has introduced the Porsche Cayenne S Electric, which is the latest addition to the electric SUV’s model lineup and it slots in between the base Cayenne Electric and the range-topping Cayenne Turbo Electric. It also gets some cosmetic differentiators compared to the base Cayenne Electric, and here’s a closer look at what the Cayenne S Electric offers.

2026 Porsche Cayenne S Electric exterior

The overall design of the Cayenne S Electric is in line with what we’ve seen on the base Cayenne Electric but there are a few elements which differentiate it cosmetically, including the Volcano Grey accents on the front and rear apron which are specific to this model. Other exterior changes include the 20-inch Aero S alloy wheels as standard, and you can configure your Cayenne to be specced with 21 or 22-inch wheels. Overall, the design the Cayenne S looks a little more aggressive when compared to lesser models like the base Cayenne Electric.

Just like the base Cayenne Electric, the Cayenne S gets a 113kWh battery pack but the power output has gone up considerably by 221bhp to 657bhp. The claimed 0-100kmph time has dropped by 1 second and is now 3.8 seconds, while the claimed top speed is now 250kmph (as opposed to the base Cayenne’s 230kmph), along with a claimed range of 701km. This also makes it the model with the highest range in the Cayenne Electric model lineup.

2026 Porsche Cayenne S Electric price

Porsche has not yet officially announced whether the Cayenne S Electric will be making its way to India but it is likely that the SUV will be offered in our market soon. To give you some perspective on the pricing, the Porsche Cayenne Electric was first launched in India at a price of ₹1.75 crore, while the Cayenne Turbo Electric had a sticker price of ₹2.52 crore, and it is likely that the Cayenne S Electric will be priced between these two SUVs when it does come to India.
