Mahindra XUV 3XO EV launched at ₹13.89 lakh!
India’s compact EV space gets a fresh boost as the newly launched Mahindra XUV 3XO EV arrives with a bold SUV stance, advanced tech, and efficient all-electric performance.;
The new Mahindra XUV 3XO EV has been launched in India with prices starting from ₹13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as the successor to the XUV400 EV, it shares its platform and design with the ICE-powered XUV 3XO. It aims to offer a well-rounded package in the compact electric SUV segment, combining style, technology and usability.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV exterior design
The XUV 3XO EV’s exterior closely resembles the ICE version, but with copper-coloured accents inspired by the XUV400 EV. It features dual LED headlamps, a grille with copper slats, and aerodynamic R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels for the AX7L variant and R16 wheels for the AX5 variant. Black cladding and connected LED tail lamps add to its modern look.

The XUV 3XO EV is offered in AX5 and AX7 variants, both featuring the same modern cabin layout as the ICE-powered model, finished in a black and beige colour scheme. In terms of design, both variants get a twin 10.25-inch screen setup for infotainment and the digital instrument cluster, along with a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. The AX5 comes with a single-pane sunroof, while the AX7 adds a panoramic sunroof and soft-touch materials.
For comfort and convenience, the AX5 is well-equipped with dual-zone climate control, passive keyless entry, push-button start, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, wireless charging, rear AC vents, multiple USB charging ports and 60:40 split rear seats. The AX7 gets additional features such as an auto-dimming IRVM, a cooled glove box and illuminated sun visors.
On the technology front, both variants get Mahindra’s Adrenox connected car system with built-in Alexa, online navigation and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Audio duties are handled by a six-speaker system on the AX5, while the AX7 upgrades to a seven-speaker Harman Kardon setup with Dolby Atmos.

In terms of safety, both variants are equipped with six airbags, ESP, tyre pressure monitoring, cruise control and a rear-view camera. The AX7 further gets Level 2 ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking, along with a 360-degree surround view system.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV performance
Powering the XUV 3XO EV is a 39.4kWh battery pack producing 145bhp and 310Nm of torque with a range of 285 km. It accelerates from 0 -100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds, highlighting its strong performance. The SUV supports fast charging, with a 0 - 80 per cent charge achievable in around 50 minutes using a 50kW DC fast charger.
Multiple drive modes - Fun, Fast and Fearless also on offer. It also gets Frequency Dependent Damping (FDD) and Mahindra’s MTV-CL (Multi-tunable Valve with Concentric Land) suspension technology to help deliver a balanced mix of ride comfort and handling stability.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is priced competitively in the compact electric SUV segment, with the AX5 variant starting at ₹13.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while the range-topping AX7L is priced at ₹14.96 lakh (ex-showroom). At these price points, the XUV 3XO EV goes up against rivals such as the Tata Nexon EV and the MG ZS EV.
