Tata has launched the Harrier Adventure X and Safari Adventure X+
Tata Motors has launched two new variants of the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari SUVs, called the Adventure X. Prices for the Harrier Adventure X and Safari Adventure X+ start from ₹18.99 lakh and ₹19.99 lakh, respectively, and these variants aim to appeal to value-centric buyers who wish for their SUVs to be feature-loaded while also being priced aggressively. Here’s a look at what the Tata Harrier Adventure X and Safari Adventure X offer.
With the Harrier Adventure X, Tata Motors has introduced a seaweed green colour scheme
Tata Harrier Adventure X
The Harrier Adventure X continues to get identical styling to the other Harrier variants, with the biggest change being the introduction of the seaweed green colour scheme to the range of colours on offer. The Adventure X also gets 17-inch Titan Forged alloy wheels, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. Step inside and the cabin layout is unchanged from the other Harrier variants, save for the black upholstery for the leatherette seats with tan accents. You get a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen on the Harrier Adventure X along with a digital instrument cluster of the same size, and the SUV also comes equipped with creature comforts like a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, a 6-way adjustable powered driver’s seat, and a command shifter for the automatic transmission. The SUV also comes with an electronic parking brake with auto hold and trail response modes. In addition to the Harrier Adventure X, you also get an Adventure X+ variant, and this gets all of the aforementioned features, along with rear disc brakes and Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control.
The Safari Adventure X+ comes with a new supernova copper colour and 18-inch alloy wheels
Tata Safari Adventure X+
The Safari Adventure X+ comes with a new supernova copper colour and like the Harrier Adventure X, it gets automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. The SUV is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels. Step inside and the interior gets tan oak-inspired upholstery for the leatherette seats, with the powered driver’s seat being 6-way adjustable and also getting a memory function. The Safari also gets a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, trail response modes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a command shifter for the automatic transmission and ESP with 17 functions including a driver doze off alert. Both the Harrier and Safari continue to be powered by a 2-litre diesel engine producing 168bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic.
Tata Harrier Adventure X and Safari Adventure X+ prices
The Adventure X variants of the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari slot in below the top-spec variants of the SUVs, and prices for the Harrier Adventure X start from ₹18.99 lakh, with the Harrier Adventure X+ priced at ₹19.34 lakh. The Safari Adventure X+ is priced at ₹19.99 lakh, and all of these prices are for the manual transmission versions, with the prices for the automatic variants to be announced later. These prices for the Adventure X variants will be valid till October 31, 2025. Tata Motors has also simplified the variant line-up for the Harrier and the Safari, which should make it easier for customers to pick the variant of their choice when buying a new Harrier or Safari.
