There were times when enthusiasts got excited at the prospect of a 100+bhp car – and how times have changed, because the Ferrari F80 that headlines the September 2025 issue of evo India magazine makes near-1200bhp of power from its hybrid powertrain. Also in this issue, in a similar high-horsepower vein is the Porsche 963 RSP – a Le Mans hypercar for the road. And if you prefer your high-performance car to have unmatched capability across all manner of terrain, we’ve got you covered with the Mercedes-AMG G 63 featured alongside the Defender Octa. We also hit the race tracks, setting a lap record at the BIC with the Range Rover Sport Edition Two, drifted AMGs at the AMG Experience, and pitted the Hero Xtreme 250R against a sports car in a unique drag race.

Also in this issue are the first drives of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53, the Volvo EX30 and XC60, the Bentley Continental GT, the Renault Kiger facelift and the new Kia EV6. We also rode the KTM 160 Duke, the Triumph Thruxton 400, the Hero Glamour X and checked out the Harley-Davidson Dirt Road Track experience at Sepang. Plus a deep dive on the Vietnamese carmaker VinFast and their origin story, our Toyota Innova Crysta buying guide and a lot more!

Ferrari F80

The latest in a long line of storied performance cars to emerge from Maranello; we tell you whether the 1183bhp hybrid Ferrari feels as special to drive as its iconic predecessors.

Mercedes-AMG G 63 and Defender Octa

The two super-SUVs might have common traits with their high-performance engines and unmatched all-terrain capability, but the driving experience and the manner that both these SUVs go about achieving their objectives is vastly different.

Mahindra Freedom NU concepts

We check out the four production-ready concepts unveiled by Mahindra this Independence Day, all of which are based on the company’s NU IQ platform.

SV Track Attack

In this instalment of our SV Track Attack Series with the Range Rover SV Edition Two, we head to India’s biggest race track, the Buddh International Circuit, to set a (wet) lap record.

Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4MATIC+

The CLE 53 means different things in different environments, as we found out in our drive of the AMG on the road as well as the race track.

Porsche 963 RSP

Dreamt of a Le Mans hypercar on the public road? The (just about) road legal Porsche 963 RSP might be the car you’ve always yearned for.

AMG Experience

With an autocross, drift sessions and high-speed laps at the BIC, the AMG Experience makes a comeback in a bigger, better and faster avatar.

Bentley Continental GT

Bentley debuted the fourth-generation of its Continental GT in its Speed iteration first, and we’ve now had a chance to drive the standard GT – which might be lower on power but definitely not on grace.

Audi Q3 Journeys

Three different Audi Q3 owners talk about their cars, the ownership experience, and what makes it such a great buy.

Who is VinFast?

The entire low-down on VinFast, the Vietnamese carmaker that has recently made its debut in India.

Volvo EX30

We have driven the electric Volvo, which turns heads with its styling and promises to offer great comfort, but it isn’t without its quirks.

Volvo XC60

The XC60 was one of Volvo’s most popular offerings in India, and to keep the SUV fresh, it has been subtly updated with refresh to the styling, a larger infotainment screen and a spruced up interior.

Kia EV6 facelift

Boasting better value for money, the facelift also brings in more range and tech without a higher price tag.

Renault Kiger facelift

Refreshed styling, a dual-tone interior and updates to the features list aim to keep the Kiger competitive against its compact SUV rivals.

Volkswagen Virtus

SUVs might be all the rage today, especially on the sales chart, but the Virtus proves that a good sedan still makes a case for itself.

Hero Xtreme 250R drag race

This isn’t an ideal comparison test, pitting the Hero Xtreme 250R against a Porsche 911 in a drag race – but neither were the results, which were honestly surprising!

Triumph Thruxton 400

Triumph is playing the nostalgia card with its latest cafe racer, the Thruxton 400. And while it might not be perfect, it definitely is something that buyers should consider.

Harley-Davidson Dirt Road Track

We experienced Harley-Davidson’s entire range of motorcycles at the company’s Dirt Road Track event held at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
