Emflux teases Two and Two+ electric motorcycles

At the 2018 Auto Expo, Emflux Motors unveiled the Emflux One, a fully-faired electric motorcycle that was priced at Rs 6 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 11 lakh for the top-end variant. The One hasn’t rolled out of the assembly line yet but the Bengaluru-based start-up has already teased its next model—Two. It also gets a ‘+’ variant that promises a higher top-speed and range.

Though Emflux hasn’t divulged any details about the motorcycles yet, the standard variant of Two has a claimed top speed of 160kmph while nought to 100kmph be achieved in 4.5 seconds. The claimed range of this bike is 160km. The + variant on the other hand has a top speed of 180kmph and can sprint from 0-100 in mere 3.6 seconds. The Two+ boasts of a claimed range of 200km.

The bikes are likely to be built around the same steel-trellis frame from the Emflux One. However, being streetfighters, the bikes are expected to have a different steering geometry. Through the bikes could share the same underpinnings, the Two+ may receive fully-adjustable Ohlins USD and Ohlins monoshock from the Emflux One as an option.

The Emflux Two could be priced in the Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh range. The company hasn’t announced the launch date yet, but they are likely to be revealed at the 2020 Auto Expo followed by the launch later that year.
