Honda has launched the CB125 Hornet
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recently completed 25 years of operations in India and to commemorate the occasion, the company unveiled two new motorcycles – the Honda CB125 Hornet and the Honda Shine 100 DX. The company has now announced prices for both the motorcycles, with the CB125 Hornet launched at a limited period introductory price of ₹1.12 lakh, and the Shine 100 DX launched at a price of ₹74,959.
Honda CB125 Hornet
The Honda CB125 Hornet aims to be youth-centric and the motorcycle features aggressive styling. The Hornet gets an all-LED lighting setup which includes a twin-LED headlamp with DRLs, and the motorcycle also gets tank shrouds and a split seat. The CB125 comes multi-spoke alloy wheels and in terms of the suspension, the motorcycle is equipped with a golden USD front fork and a 5-step adjustable rear monoshock. The features list also includes a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C charging port. The CB125 Hornet is powered by a 124cc OBD2B-compliant engine producing 11bhp, and this engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in a claimed 5.4 seconds. The Honda CB125 Hornet has been launched at a limited period introductory price of ₹1.12 lakh.

Honda Shine 100 DX
The Shine 100 DX commuter gets refreshed styling which includes a newly-designed headlamp with chrome garnishing, graphics on the side panels, a chrome muffler cover and a wider, now 10-litre fuel tank. The motorcycle is offered in four colour schemes and the equipment on offer includes an LCD digital instrument cluster. Powering the Honda Shine 100 DX is a 99cc OBD2B-compliant engine that produces 7bhp and 8Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by the telescopic front forks and 5-step adjustable rear shock absorbers, with the drum brakes at both ends aided by Honda’s Combined Brake System (CBS). The Shine 100 DX rides on 17-inch wheels with tubeless tyres and the motorcycle was launched at a price of ₹74,959.
Bookings for the Shine 100 DX and the CB125 Hornet are officially open and customers can book these motorcycles by heading to the company’s website or by heading to their nearest Honda dealership. Deliveries for the motorcycles will be commencing from mid-August 2025 in a phased manner.
