The Honda CB750 Hornet has been launched in India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced the launch of two motorcycles – the Honda CB750 Hornet and the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP in India. Prices for the motorcycles start from ₹8.59 lakh and ₹12.35 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom, Gurugram) and bookings for both the motorcycles are open, with deliveries to start from June 2025 onwards.
Honda CB750 Hornet and Honda CB1000 Hornet SP design
Both the Honda CB750 Hornet and the CB1000 Hornet SP follow what Honda calls the ‘Aggressive X Pure’ styling philosophy, with sharp bodywork and aggressive tank shrouds. Both these motorcycles also get all-LED lighting. The CB750 Hornet can be had in two colour schemes – Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic – while the CB1000 Hornet SP, which is Honda’s flagship naked streetfighter, can be had solely in a Matte Ballistic Black Metallic colour scheme, with the addition of gold accents.
Honda CB750 Hornet and Honda CB1000 Hornet SP suspension and brakes
When it comes to the suspension, the CB750 Hornet comes equipped with a Showa SFF-BPTM inverted fork at the front while a monoshock damper with Pro-Link swingarm handles suspension duties at the rear. The CB1000 Hornet SP too gets a Showa SFF-BPTM inverted fork at the front, but the rear suspension consists of a Ohlins TTX36 shock absorber. Coming to the brakes, the CB750 Hornet is equipped with 296mm dual front disc brakes and a 240mm disc at the rear. Meanwhile the CB1000 Hornet gets dual 310mm discs at the front with Brembo radially-mount callipers, with the rear getting a 240mm disc. Both motorcycles get dual-channel ABS.

Both these Hondas come with a 5-inch full-colour TFT display that gets Honda’s RoadSync app connectivity. You also get a new illuminated multi-functional switch on the left side of the handlebar which allows the rider to adjust settings easily. The CB750 Hornet gets four riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain, and User – while the CB1000 Hornet SP gets two customisable User riding modes in addition to the Sport, Standard, Rain modes. Also a part of the rider aids is the Honda Selectable Torque control system with three levels of adjustability.
Honda CB750 Hornet and Honda CB1000 Hornet SP engine
Powering the CB750 Hornet is an in-line 2-cylinder 755cc engine that produces 90bhp of power and 75Nm of torque. The CB1000 Hornet SP on the other hand is powered by a 999cc in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces 155bhp and 107Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed gearbox and get an assist and slipper clutch, but it is the CB1000 Hornet SP that comes with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.

Prices for the Honda CB750 Hornet start from ₹8.59 lakh while the CB1000 Hornet SP is priced at ₹12.35 lakh. Bookings for both these Hondas are open, with deliveries to start from June 2025 onwards. While the CB750 is available across all Honda BigWing Topline and BigWing dealerships, the CB1000 will be sold exclusively through BigWing Topline dealerships in India.
