Kawasaki has launched the MY26 Ninja 300 in India at ₹3.17 lakh
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been introduced in India with prices starting at ₹3.17 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as an accessible entry-level supersport, it combines smooth parallel-twin power, comfortable ergonomics, and proven mechanicals, making it suitable for both new riders and everyday sport riding.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 Design
The Ninja 300 carries forward Kawasaki’s familiar supersport design language inspired by larger Ninja models like the ZX-10R. It features sharp full-fairing bodywork, a mass-forward stance and a minimalist tail section that give it a big-bike presence. Key highlights include a ZX-10R-style floating windscreen that improves wind protection on highways and dual projector headlights inspired by the Ninja ZX-6R, enhancing both night-time visibility and the premium look of the motorcycle.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 Engine and Chassis
Powering the Ninja 300 is a 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 38bhp and 26Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an Assist & Slipper Clutch, which reduces clutch effort and improves control during aggressive downshifts.

The motorcycle is built around a steel-tube diamond frame, designed to offer durability and balanced handling. A 17-litre fuel tank ensures decent touring range, while Kawasaki’s heat management technology helps direct hot air away from the rider, improving comfort during city riding and heavy traffic.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 Suspension and Braking
Suspension duties are handled by a 37mm telescopic front fork and a bottom-link Uni-Trak rear monoshock with five-step preload adjustability, tuned to balance ride comfort and sporty handling. Braking is managed by petal disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS, offering predictable stopping power and confidence in varied riding conditions.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 Electronics and Features
The Ninja 300 keeps its electronics simple and rider-friendly. It features an analogue-style tachometer paired with a multifunction LCD display showing speed, fuel level, trip meters, odometer, and an economical riding indicator. White LED backlighting ensures clear visibility in all lighting conditions. Other highlights include revised tyre patterns for improved grip and road feedback, along with comfortable ergonomics suited for both city use and highway cruising.
