Meet the AMB 002, Aston Martin and Brough Superior’s first street-legal motorcycle
Following its track-specific predecessor, the AMB 002 is tuned for the streets, yet claims a promising power delivery

Close to seven years after the launch of the track-specific AMB 001, Aston Martin and Brough Superior have now entered the civilian roads, unveiling the street-legal AMB 002. Drawing a striking inspiration from its predecessor, the AMB 002 is even more upgraded, with a superior engine, albeit tuned to fit the roads, and some striking inspirations from Aston Martin’s four-wheeled catalogue. It is expected to commence deliveries in Q3 of 2027.
The Aston Martin AMB 002 Design
The Aston Martin AMB 002 wouldn’t be hard to spot on the roads. Of course, one of the reasons is the hard 300 production limit that Aston Martin has revealed. But again, its distinctive look with the pebble-shaped carbon fuel tank and the side fairings, paired with crescent-shaped gills, makes it one for the eyes. The AMB 002
Its twin oval exhausts with the ribbed heat sinks draw inspiration from the Vanquish, DB12 S and DBX S. Meanwhile, the rear light blades have a striking resemblance to the Vulcan, Valkyrie, and the Valhalla.
The Aston Martin AMB 002 Performance
The AMB 002 is packed with a water-cooled, 1083cc V-twin, delivering 130bhp and 110Nm of torque. The track-specific AMB 001, which was launched in 2019, delivered 180hp through a 997cc turbocharged engine, and that was the first time Brough had a turbocharged V-twin.
The V-twin sits on a titanium frame, milled from a single billet, which makes it one of the most interesting parts of the motorcycle; owing to this, it manages to achieve close to a 50:50 weight distribution, and weighs 190kg.
Meanwhile, Brough Superior’s double-wishbone Fior Fork front suspension enhances the ride further. This suspension, contrary to the usual telescopic forks, separates the steering and braking forces, aiding in making the ride more stable, even under heavy braking.
At first glance, the AMB 002 is most definitely inspired by the AMB 001. However, making it street legal while fitting state-of-the-art components does give it a unique look. Moreover, its relatively light weight makes it all the more exciting.
Aston Martin is currently accepting orders for the hand-built limited AMB 002, and deliveries are expected to commence in 2027 Q3.
