The maxi-scooter that carved out its own niche in the 125cc space is back in a new-generation avatar, and the brief is clear. Called the Suzuki Burgman Street, the goal is to make it more premium, more comfortable, and more desirable without losing its everyday usability.

The result? A scooter that leans harder into its identity, one that Suzuki calls and honestly, that’s not far from the truth.

2026 Suzuki Burgman Street design

Since its debut in 2018, the Burgman Street has stood apart, not just because of its maxi styling, but because it blended comfort, practicality and a hint of aspirational appeal. This new version builds on that very philosophy. It’s aimed at two kinds of riders, those who want something stylish and distinctive, and those who simply want a comfortable, easy everyday ride. The overlap between the two is where the Burgman thrives and Suzuki knows it. The design direction is now called ‘Sleek Modern’ and it shows. The new Burgman Street looks cleaner, more mature, and a touch more premium than before. Key highlights include new split LED headlamps with position lights, Compact LED indicators and updated tail-light, a dark smoked windscreen, metallic-finish emblems and a redesigned upswept exhaust

It’s still unmistakably a Burgman, but now with more visual polish and road presence.

2026 Suzuki Burgman Street comfort & chassis

This is where the Burgman continues to shine. Suzuki has worked on the fundamentals rather than chasing gimmicks. Lightweight yet rigid frame improves handling. Long wheelbase adds straight-line stability. Tuned suspension balances comfort and control. Spacious seat and flexible floorboard enhance ergonomics. There’s also a proper focus on real-world usability, from the riding posture to the way it handles broken roads and traffic.

2026 Suzuki Burgman Engine

Under the skin, the Burgman Street continues with Suzuki’s trusted SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) engine, now updated for better low- and mid-range response. 124cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.3bhp and 10.2Nm. It gives the Burgman Street improved torque delivery at lower rpm as well as a smoother and quieter operation. It’s not about outright performance, it’s about making everyday riding easier, smoother and more efficient. And that’s exactly what this setup delivers.

2026 Suzuki Burgman features & practicality

Suzuki hasn’t forgotten what made the Burgman practical. It gets a 24.6-litre underseat storage, up from 21.5 litres front pockets and dual utility hooks, USB charging port, 5.5-litre fuel tank with tail-mounted fuel lid and then there’s the tech, especially on the top variant.

2026 Suzuki Burgman Street Ride Connect TFT Edition

The biggest upgrade comes in the form of the Ride Connect TFT Edition, which adds a proper premium feel. It gets a 4.2-inch colour TFT display, keyless ignition system, smartphone connectivity via Suzuki Ride Connect, navigation, call alerts, and weather updates. It’s the kind of feature set you’d expect from something bigger, and it elevates the Burgman’s positioning in the segment.

2026 Suzuki Burgman pricing and variants

The 2026 Burgman Street comes in two variants, Ride Connect Edition – ₹1,01,944 lakh, ex-showroom and Ride Connect TFT Edition with keyless ignition – ₹1,13,220 lakh, ex-showroom.
