Bugatti’s Last W16 gets a Porcelain makeover: Mistral Blanc Eternel
The Bugatti Mistral Blanc Eternel is a one-off commission, and one of the last W16s to ever be made by Bugatti ahead of the hybrid V16-powered Tourbillon
Bugatti first collaborated with KPM Berlin, a German porcelain house, to create the spectacular Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc in 2011. After 15 years, they have collaborated again to create another piece of art. Introducing the Mistral Blanc Eternel, featuring porcelain bodywork and porcelain artwork, and the legendary 8-litre quad-turbo W16, the last of its kind.
Bugatti Mistral Blanc Eternel styling
The Mistral Blanc Eternel draws inspiration from fine porcelain art and is a direct tribute to the 2011 Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc. The car features a glossy Porcelain White finish detailed with hand-applied digital wireframe lines. The car also features exclusive porcelain accents crafted by KPM Berlin, which are integrated into the car’s design.

The iconic EB rear emblem, the fuel and oil caps, and the engine cover inlays are all made of porcelain. It also features a hidden detail on the underside of the rear wing that is only visible when it is deployed at high speed, which reveals custom "Blanc Éternel" branding. Mistral Blanc Eternel borrows from the standard Mistral its headlights and taillights, along with a similar underlying design and dimensions.

On the inside, the same visual design continues with white leather upholstery, which is overlaid with the same hand-painted black lines. The cabin also features porcelain accents, which are strategically placed touchpoints that the driver would interact with. Mistral Blanc Eternel features a porcelain gear selector, speaker grilles, window switches, centre console trim, and the armrests.
The centre console features the gearshifter and armrests made entirely of porcelain.
Because porcelain tends to shrink during the firing process in the kiln, every one of these components had to be engineered to tight tolerances to make sure the final fired piece fit exactly as planned.
Bugatti Mistral Blanc Eternel engine and powertrain
Being a Mistral, it is powered by the legendary 8-litre quad-turbo W16 engine putting out 1576bhp and 1600Nm of torque. It is connected to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, helping it do 0-100kpmh in just 2.4 seconds and 0-400kmph in 29 seconds. With a top speed of over 453kmph, it also holds the world record for the fastest open-top car.
The engine covers are made entirely out of porcelain.
Bugatti Mistral Blanc Eternel pricing and availability
As a one-of-one hypercar built through Bugatti's bespoke Sur Mesure division, the Blanc Eternel doesn’t carry a public price tag, and given its exclusivity, an accurate estimate is difficult to make. It also stands entirely apart from the standard 99-unit Mistral production run, which sold out before the car was revealed.
