2026 Kia Syros now comes with a diesel automatic and four new variants
The 2026 Kia Syros MY26 introduces four new entry-level trims – HTE, HTE(O), HTK(O), and HTX(O), with wider automatic transmission availability including diesel automatics. Gets design changes on the exterior and with new colour options.
Kia Syros design
The Syros now gets a very subtle change on the front bumper, glossy black skid plates, and LED fog lamps. At the back, a new bumper with aero bits and a high-mounted stop lamp. Sides get black roof rails, with similar finish on the ORVMs, and on higher trims like HTX, it gets 17-inch tyres with crystal-cut alloys with neon brake calipers, just as the ones on the new Seltos. New colours? Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte, and Ivory Silver.

For the diesel enthusiasts, good news: now the automatic diesel options start from the HTK variant at ₹12.74 lakhs. You still get the punchy 1-litre turbo-petrol with 118bhp and 172Nm of torque or 1.5-litre diesel engine with 114bhp and 250Nm of torque with manual and automatic choices.
Kia Syros technology and safety
It gets 5-star BNCAP rating, 20 safety features like airbags and stability control. Tech includes 80 connected car features, OTA updates, and Kia Connect for diagnostics straight on your phone. Continues with the previously featured ventilated seats front and back.

The Kia Syros 2026 lineup starts at ₹8.39 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the base HTE 1-litre MT trim, going up to ₹9.19 lakhs for HTE(O), ₹9.79 lakhs for HTKEX (petrol), and ₹10.74 lakhs for HTK petrol MT. Diesel manuals kick off at ₹9.99 lakhs for HTE(O), ₹10.59 lakhs for HTKEX, ₹11.54 lakhs for HTK(O), and ₹12.80 lakhs for HTX. The automatics start from ₹11.94 lakhs on HTK, up to ₹13.20 lakhs for HTK(O), ₹14.00 lakhs for HTX, and ₹15.00 lakhs for HTX(O); diesel automatics start at ₹12.74 lakhs for HTK, climbing to ₹14.00 lakhs for HTK(O), ₹14.80 lakhs for HTX, and ₹15.80 lakhs for the HTX(O).
