The Tata Sierra Legend Series

To give the Sierra a more value-focused proposition, Tata has launched a new variant series called the Legend Series. Based on their own customer feedback, customers around the ₹15 lakh mark looking for a Sierra desired more luxury in the car, considering the options they saw on some higher variants. The Legend Series comprises five variants and will be available besides the existing variant line-up. The main changes in the new line-up are the addition of certain comfort and convenience features that were desired by the customers.

The 2026 Tata Sierra Legend Series

The Tata Sierra Legend Series is available in five variants

The five available variants are Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L, and Adventure+ L.

Here are details on what these variants offer.

The 2026 Tata Sierra Smart+ L

The Legend Series begins with the Smart+ L trim, offering safety essentials, leatherette seats and trim, steering-mounted controls, auto-folding outside rear-view mirrors, full wheel covers, and roof rails. Priced at ₹11.99 lakh, the Smart+ L variant will be available with 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel options (both naturally aspirated), paired with a 6-speed manual transmission in both.

The 2026 Tata Sierra Pure L

The Pure L variant loads digital convenience in the cabin, delivering a more modern approach, and what rhymes better with modern than a touchscreen? The 10.2-inch infotainment screen is paired with eight speakers, voice commands, and smartphone connectivity to bring the entire infotainment within the hands of the passengers. It features both Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

For better drivability, it features a rear camera, cruise control, Hill Descent Control, tyre pressure monitor, 17-inch alloy wheels, and rear wash-wipe.

This is priced at ₹13.79 lakh and is available in both petrol and diesel variants. Apart from the manual transmission, however, this also has the option of a 7-speed Dual Clutch Automatic transmission, paired with the 1.5-litre petrol engine.

The 2026 Tata Sierra Pure L (O)

Further building on the luxury of the Pure L trim, the Pure L (O) features a panoramic sunroof, which can be commanded by voice. Automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers further give the trim a more modernistic approach. Starting at ₹14.29 lakh, it features the same petrol and diesel engines with manual transmissions. Additionally, it includes a 7-speed DCA for the petrol trim and an optional 6-speed automatic for the diesel variant.

The 2026 Tata Sierra Pure+ L

This is where Tata delivers full leatherette interiors, complete with ventilated front seats, a powered driver's seat, and a thigh-support extender for added comfort. Meanwhile, dual-zone climate control and added charging add to the overall convenience of the passengers. Starting at ₹14.99 lakh, it is available in all the above-mentioned transmissions, with naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engines. In addition to that, however, the Pure+ L also features a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
