Tesla India opens reservations for the new Roadster
The new Roadster is now available for booking in India, in conjunction with the launch of the complimentary Acceleration Boost for the Model Y L.
Tesla India has opened reservations for the new Roadster, with bookings beginning at ₹5 lakh. Moreover, Tesla India has also announced the addition of a complimentary Acceleration Boost to the Model Y L.
With the Acceleration Boost, the Model Y L now goes from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.5 seconds, as Tesla claims.
The reservations for the new Roadster have only been opened in select countries apart from the United States, and India is one of them. As per the Tesla India website, the Tesla Roadster Performance trim can be booked at ₹5 lakh, with a pending amount of ₹45 lakh. Meanwhile, the Thrust trim can be booked at the same amount, with a pending transaction of ₹2.45 crores, which would be due within 10 days of booking.
The production of the Roadster will begin in 2028 with Left-Hand Drive vehicles only.
