VinFast has officially opened bookings for the VF MPV 7 – a premium seven-seater electric MPV

VinFast is all set to launch the VF MPV 7 in India along with the Limo Green variant which is for the fleet use of the Green and Smart Mobility, VinFast’s all-electric taxi service. The VF MPV 7 pre-bookings are now open on their website for ₹21,000. Along with the VinFast VF MPV 7 for personal use, there will be a variant called the Limo Green, which will be used for VinFast’s Green and Smart Mobility service. GSM is a taxi service, like Uber, which exclusively uses VinFast cars for their fleet. The VinFast GSM service will be launched in the second half of 2026. The Limo Green will only be for commercial use as a fleet car. The VF MPV 7 will rival cars like the BYD eMAX7, Toyota Innova Hycross, Kia Carens Clavis EV, Hyundai Alcazar, and the Maruti Suzuki Invicto.

VinFast VF MPV 7 design

The VinFast VF MPV 7 is designed to be a fleet car along with personal use, so it is optimised to be a 7-seater SUV with a wheelbase of 2840mm. It sits at 4740mm in length, 1872mm in width and 1734mm in height. The VinFast VF MPV 7 comes standard with 19-inch wheels. The car comes with 185mm of ground clearance making it suitable for most situations. In comparison, the BYD eMAX 7 gets 200mm, and Toyota Innova Hycross gets 186mm.

VinFast VF MPV 7 interiors

The VF MPV 7 has a seven-seat configuration and 1240 litres of boot space. The cabin features a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with AppleCarPlay and Android Auto. The steering wheel is manually adjustable for reach and rake. The seats get the leather upholstery instead of the very popular leatherette material. The car gets automatic climate control and a PM2.5 air filter for air filtration. It comes equipped with rear-parking assist and a 360-degree camera.

VinFast VF MPV 7 battery pack

The VinFast VF MPV 7 gets a 60.13 kWh battery pack with a NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) claimed range of 500kms+. The front axle-mounted motor makes 203bhp and 280Nm. 0 to 100 kmph comes up in 10 seconds, and you can juice up the car from 10 per cent to 70 per cent in approximately 30 minutes.

VinFast VF MPV 7 will be competing with the likes of the Kia Carens Clavis EV which starts at ₹17.99 lakh, the BYD eMax 7 which starts at ₹26.9 lakh, Toyota Innova Hycross which starts at ₹18.33 lakh, Hyundai Alcazar which starts at ₹14.49 lakh and the Maruti Suzuki Invicto which starts at ₹24.97 lakh.
