Xiaomi SkyNomad SUVs globally unveiled
Xiaomi has unveiled its four ‘large-space’ SkyNomad SUVs priced at under ₹30 lakh
Xiaomi Auto has officially launched its Xiaomi SkyNomad Series globally, introducing the all-new SkyNomad N70 and N90 models. Based on the Xiaomi Kunlun Platform, the SkyNomad N70 Pro and SkyNomad N70 Max target the five-seat extended-range SUV segment, while the SkyNomad N90 Max positions itself as a seven-seat flagship for both business and family use. The SkyNomad N90 Max Studio takes things further, transforming the vehicle into a mobile living space with a two-level loft layout, a second row that converts to a bed in 30 seconds, floor heating, and an electric lifting cabin roof. All four share the Xiaomi Kunlun Architecture, and prices for the range in China starts at just under ₹30 lakh.

The SkyNomad N70 shares the same design language and style as the SkyNomad N90, with a commanding, composed presence that continues the classic luxury SUV proportions of a short front overhang and long rear overhang. The SkyNomad N70 measures 4,960mm in length, 1,998mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 2,950mm, with a boxy silhouette that creates a cavernous interior space. The signature dragonfly headlights feature a high-beam range of up to 624-metres and a low-beam coverage angle of 180-degrees, for clear visibility at night and on narrow roads.

The SkyNomad N70 features a cabinet-style center console, a sliding center console and up to 33 storage compartments. Paired with a 60.23-inch full-width dashboard display and massive glass area, the cabin feels open and transparent. The 256-color digital light curtain ambient lighting system uses diffuse reflection to create a theater-like lighting atmosphere. 95 per cent of high-touch surfaces throughout the vehicle are soft-wrapped and the cabin also comes standard with an energy-efficient heat pump air conditioning system, independent B-pillar air vents for the second row. The front seatbacks feature a 15-layer stacked construction that provides both comfort and support. Sitting down, you're enveloped as if in a plush lounge chair.
The SkyNomad N70 is built on the Xiaomi Kunlun Platform, featuring a reconfigurable design that achieves a completely flat floor with extra-long sliding rails. It comes standard with a flat floor. Additionally, the Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 Pro comes standard with a 14-speaker sound system including a 200mm ultra-large subwoofer and 2 headrest speakers. The N70 Max features Xiaomi Auto's self-developed acoustic flagship, Xiaomi Astral Sound System, with 25 speakers in a 7.1.4 acoustic architecture, 4,890 W peak power, and 7 titanium-dome tweeters for more transparent, detailed, and stable high frequencies.
