Kia is all set to enter the Indian market with their SP2i SUV later this year. Though the Stinger GT too is on the cards, the company has not confirmed the launch yet. At the New York Auto Show, the Korean company unveiled the Stinger GTS. Limited to just 800 examples, the US-only car packs an AWD and a drift mode as well.

The Kia Stinger is available as a rear-wheel-drive car in the UK while some markets do get the all-wheel-drive model. However, this limited-edition Grand Tourer gets a newly developed dynamic all-wheel-drive system with drift mode.

So what is Dynamic All-Wheel Drive?

The Stinger GTS packs a rear-biased all-wheel drive with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The car gets three driving modes- Comfort, Sports and drift. While the comfort mode gives a 60:40 rear-biased power profile for everyday use, the Sport mode gives 80:20 rear-bias for some enthusiastic driving. The drift mode puts all the power to the rear wheel and prevents upshifting, allowing you to pull off some sick drifts.
