Five cars from the GTA VI trailer that we're most excited for

We scoured the 90-second trailer and picked out the top five cars we can't wait to drive on the neon-lit streets of Vice city

After two long decades, GTA VI will return to the iconic Vice City, Rockstar games’ fictional version of Miami. The trailer showcased what is anticipated to be the largest map of any previous GTA, with incredible graphics, packed streets and even a vibrant wildlife scene. However, at evo India, we are most excited about the cars that have been revealed. Along with being more detailed, the cars in the trailer showcase a ton of new customisation options like body kits, suspension, paint schemes, custom liveries and numerous wheel designs.

Here are five cars from the trailer that we are most excited for:

Chrysler 300

The Chrysler 300 has strong ties to pop-culture, being featured in numerous hip-hop videos of the early noughties. With its low roof line and slim side windows, the 300 had a chopped top look from the factory, which made it an instant hit with the lowrider community. The car also gained notoriety amongst criminal types with its powerful 6.4-litre V8, making it the perfect getaway vehicle.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan

There was a time when Rolls-Royce was associated with aristocrats and old money. In fact, the brand was particularly picky about its clients, extending as far as only selling cars to those with a reputable profile. However, with the Cullinan, Rolls Royce has gained a significant amount of street cred, becoming one of the most popular vehicles among celebrities. The Cullinan still stays true to its roots with its 6.75-litre V12 and is currently the most expensive SUV sold in the world.

Ferrari Testarossa

A white Testarossa is the ultimate poster car for Miami, thanks to its starring role in the hit show Miami Vice. It screamed 1980s excess with its wide hips, wedge shape and side strakes. GTA’s version of the Testarossa, the Cheetah, became iconic in its own right and was brought back to GTA V’s Los Santos, based on the city of Los Angeles. However, driving the Cheetah on the streets of Vinewood just isn't the same as cruising down Ocean Drive in Vice City.

Porsche 911 Turbo

In the 1980’s, the Porsche 911 was one of the most desirable cars on the road. With the 911 Turbo, the classic shape got a whale-tail spoiler and wide rear haunches, giving it the visual drama it needed to compete with the Ferraris and Lamborghinis of the 80’s. Fingers crossed, GTA’s version, the Comet, makes a comeback, particularly in Targa form.

Lamborghini Aventador

A brightly coloured Lamborghini will never cease to draw attention everywhere it goes. A 911 GT3 RS may be quicker around a track, but there's no better car to pull up to the club than a Lamborghini Aventador. Velvet ropes part and jaws drop as soon as the scissor doors go up. Just like in real life, GTA’s version of the Aventador will most likely spawn outside the game's biggest nightclub.

Within two weeks of its release, the GTA VI trailer has already racked up over 150-million views on YouTube making it the most viewed game trailer of 2023. While the game is still over a year away, the trailer has given the gaming community plenty to talk about. On first impressions, the game looks to be taking full advantage of the capabilities of the current-gen gaming consoles to bring incredible detail to the in-game vehicles. Unforeseen delays aside, 2025 is going to be an epic year for gamers and automotive enthusiasts alike.
