The Tata Tiago.ev has received a timely update and while the changes might not be drastic, they’re certainly meaningful.
2025 Tata Tiago.ev design
Starting with the design, the Tiago.ev now gets a redesigned front end with a larger air vent – similar to the Curvv.ev – along with sleek new LED headlamps, black roof and a shark-fin antenna. The previous blue EV-specific inserts are gone, and in their place are cleaner silver and black elements, including on the door handles. While you still don’t get alloys, the redesigned wheel covers look neat enough not to leave you complaining. The overall look is sharper and more appealing.
2025 Tata Tiago.ev power and range
Power figures remain unchanged: 74bhp and 114Nm (24kWh battery) and 59bhp and 110Nm (19.2kWh battery). The claimed range has somehow gone down (what?). What used to be a 315km claimed range earlier is now 293km (IDC), with a real-world estimate of just around 205km – which does seem to be true. In our time with it, it returned close to 200km over a week of driving around the city and being used as a support car for shoots so that doesn’t seem to have affected real world range performance. DC fast charging (10-80 per cent in 58min) remains handy.
2025 Tata Tiago.ev ride and handling
Mechanically, there are no changes – but that’s no bad thing. It’s still a fun little car to drive. You can push it through corners with confidence, thanks to a well-tuned suspension, supportive chassis and sharp steering. Ride comfort remains a highlight, small undulations don’t faze it and the bigger ones are handled with composure.
2025 Tata Tiago.ev cabin and comfort
Step inside and the changes are more significant. The new 10.25-inch infotainment screen offers crisp visuals and even supports video playback through the iRA.ev connected suite. The upgraded reverse camera is notably clearer, too. There’s also a leather-wrapped steering wheel now – a welcome addition, both in terms of grip and feel, along with an updated and less cluttered, digital cluster.

2025 Tata Tiago.ev features
On the features front, it now gets ESP, hill-hold assist, a cooled glovebox, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 45W Type-C charger. Also, the leatherette upholstery used earlier has been swapped with fabric seats. And while that might sound like a downgrade on paper, it’s actually more comfortable in hot conditions and likely helps in keeping costs in check. Talking about seating, the rear row is a bit tight – but that’s a compromise any car in this entry level hatchback segment makes. Boot space remains 240 litres.

2025 Tata Tiago.ev verdict and price
All things considered, the Tiago.ev is now smarter, more polished and still excellent value – starting at ₹7.99 lakh and topping out at ₹11.14 lakh.
