Registrations for BAJA SAE India 2019 open
The registrations for the Mahindra BAJA SAE India have started and last date for registration is May 20. The 12th edition of the competition is set to kick start in July 13, with the theme “Adventure Reloaded”. BAJA SAE India will provide financial support of up to Rs 1.5 lakh to new eBAJA teams, to promote electric mobility in the country. During the virtual rounds, additional points will be provided to teams with members from non-mechanical background.
The competition has always been a proving ground for engineering students to showcase their talents, by putting their theoretical knowledge into practical use as they team up to design and build a ‘buggy’, which is ideally an all-terrain vehicle.
All the teams will be judged on six main parameters in the virtual BAJA event – knowledge of the rulebook, the design of the vehicle, the project plan, the design methodology, the design evaluation plain and viva sessions
