The final stage of the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League concluded with a spectacular event in Bangalore, with the home team, BigRock Motorsport, emerging as the champions of the inaugural season, showcasing exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition. Here’s how the final round of the series turned out
Jordi Tixier (BB Racing) showed exceptional skill, winning both Race 1 and Race 2 in the 450cc International class. Matt Moss of BigRock Motorsports was close behind, finishing 2nd in Race 1 and 3rd in Race 2, thus maintaining enough gap to grab the championship win.
Hugo Manzato (SG Speed Racers) made his mark in the final round, winning both races. Reid Taylor however was out of reach in the overall rankings and became the inaugural champion in the 250cc International class.
In Race 1, Ben Prasit Hallgren (Mohite’s Racing Team) took victory followed by Thanarath Penjan (BigRock Motorsports) and Athison Ruadero (BB Racing). In Race 2, Athison took the lead and won the race with Thanarath and Ben in second and third respectively. Thanarath Penjan’s overall lead helped him grab the championship win despite finishing second in both races.
The All-Star race showcased an epic battle between the riders from the various 450cc and 250cc classes. Jordi Tixier maintained his winning streak from the first two races and won the All-Stars race as well.
Throughout the season, BigRock Motorsports has been the team to beat. Their riders have shown incredible skill and consistency and thus are the deserving champions. With the inaugural season over, we already have high hopes for the second season which promises to be bigger than before.
