Indian GP confirmed for 2024 MotoGP calendar

2023 is a historic year for motorsport in India, because it is the first time in over 70 years of MotoGP history that the pinnacle of two-wheeler motorsports has ever happened in India. After having concluded just a few days back, the first ever Indian GP was a massive success and now MotoGP has confirmed that India will be a part of the 2024 calendar as well. 

 According to the provisional calendar that MotoGP has put out on their handles, the Grand Prix of India will take place from September 20-22 and will be the 16th race of the calendar just before the Indonesian GP. 

Despite all the challenges that the riders faced in terms of weather conditions and extreme heat, the IndianOil Grand Prix of India was a great success and it is heartening to see that they are all set to return for the second time in 2024. Marco Bezzecchi of the Mooney VR46 Racing team, Pedro Acosta of Red Bull KTM Ajo and Jaume Masia of Leopard Racing were the first racers to take the win at the Indian GP and it will be extremely interesting to see what action unfolds next year, now that the riders have spent some time on the track and know their way around it better.
