Chow Ujjal Namshum conquers the 10th Edition of the JK Tyre Orange 4x4 Fury International 2025 in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh
50 off-roading machines took part in the rally challenge across scenic locations of Namsai, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley and East Siang regions of Arunachal Pradesh

The 10th Edition of the JK Tyre Orange 4x4 Fury Rally hosted fifty 4x4 vehicles from all-over India along with international participation from countries like Thailand and Malaysia. This motorsport showcase involved four major formats — Rally, Autocross, Sprint and Hill Climb. Participants took part across three broad categories: Pro Mod Class, Stock Class and Women’s Class. Current Rainforest Challenge (RFC 2025) title holders Chow Ujjal Namshum and Chethan Chengappa arrived and proved their mettle by bagging another title win, thus breaking ground as some of India’s most proficient rally-raiders. Their victory was aided by co-drivers Sujeewan and Sachin Saikia together who helped the team dominate the competition.
After the flag-off from the Golden Pagoda in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, a prologue stage at the banks of Berang river kicked off the action in pitch black darkness. Teams in the Pro Mod and Stock categories were allowed to have four members competing with two vehicles, keeping the member’s safety and recovery needs under consideration.
Orange rally contenders traversed through riverbeds, forest trails and sandbanks across scenic locations of Namsai, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, Sisiri river and East Siang regions of Arunachal Pradesh. The serene scenery of north-eastern India had emerged as a natural motorsport proving ground, where the teams unfurled their rally talent and skills, driving their machines on full-tilt.

As aforementioned, Chow Ujjal Namshum and Chethan Chengappa’s team won in the Pro Mod Class followed by first-runner up team, Rakshith Kr and co-driver Rajkumar with Devineni Sri Vankat and co-driver Rakesh Bura. The second-runner up team was of Kranthi Kumar Vengala and co-driver KM Mayur Bopaiah with Rambabu Mareedu and co-driver Thalam Kumaraswamy.
The Stock Class was ruled by Krishna Phani Dhanekula and co-driver Prudhvi Sistla with teammates Bhaskar Raju and co-driver Muthhu Kumuran. Team Jaong Gam Mirip Singpho and co-driver Jawjun Mirip with Hagechada and co-driver Praritoshbarman were the first-runners up while the second-runner up team was Ravi Chandra Arra and co-driver Vikas Kumar Gopu accompanied by Sumanth Potluri and Bhargav Chowdary. Lastly, the Women’s Class found Joi Basar and Ringam Doni taking the lead.
The rally coincided with the Orange Music Festival which had an expansive lineup of artists like Sunidhi Chauhan, Adnan Sami and Benny Dayal alongside native artists such as the Dojo Dobom Collective and Ngurang Julie created a melodic ambience for the fifteen thousand attendees. The objective of this rallying series is to fan the fire of motorsports in the region.
