The 28th JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship took place at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore from November 14 to November 16, 2025, and featured a championship battle that went down to the wire. Three different categories of racing took place over this race weekend at Coimbatore — namely the Formula 4 Indian Championship, the LGB Formula 4 races and the JK Tyre Novice Cup single-seater series, alongside supporting events like the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup and the JK Tyre Levitas Cup. Read on to know more about the results from each category.

Formula 4 Indian Championship

In the closely-fought Formula 4 Indian Championship or F4IC, it was Sachel Rotgé (Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru) who won Race 1, and he was followed by Ghazi Motlekar (Kolkata Royal Tigers) in second place. Shane Chandaria (Chennai Turbo Riders) would finish the race in third place. Luviwe Sambudla (Goa Aces JA Racing) claimed victory in Race 2, with Motlekar finishing in second and Ishaan Madesh (Kolkata Royal Tigers) completing the podium. Race 3 had Chandaria cross the finish line in first place. Like the previous two races, Motlekar finished in second place once again while Rotgé would go on to finish third.

LGB Formula 4

In Race 1 of LGB Formula 4, it was Dhruvh Goswami (MSport) who took the win, followed by teammate Ruhaan Alva who finished in second place and Diljith TS (Dark Don Racing) who finished third. Race 2 was won by Mehul Agarwal (Dark Don Racing), with Goswami finishing second and Alva completing the podium for the race. Goswami would bounce back and win Race 3, with Alva again in second and Diljith TS in third. Race 4, the final LGB Formula 4 race of the weekend featured a reverse grid, and Goswami, who started the race in seventh place, gradually moved up the field and would go on to cross the chequered flag in first place. Apart from winning Race 4, Goswami also went on to win this year’s LGB Formula 4 championship. Monith Kumaran Srinivasan (Ahura Racing) finished behind Goswami in Race 4, followed by Ruhaan Alva who completed the podium for the race.

JK Tyre Levitas Cup

This round of the JK Tyre Levitas Cup, which runs the Maruti Suzuki Ignis race cars, consisted of four races, with the drivers split into two categories – Gentlemen and Rookies. In Race 1, it was Sidharth Balasundaram who finished first in the Gentlemen category, followed by Jai Prashanth Venkat in second place and Vinod S in third. Jai Prashanth Venkat won Race 2, with Balasundaram finishing second and Nitin A R rounding out the top three. Venkat pushed on and won Race 3, again followed by Balasundaram in second and Vinod S in third. Race 4 presented another victory for Venkat with Balasundaram in second place, and it was Nitin A R third who completed the podium for the race.

In the Rookies category of the Levitas Cup, it was Balaji Raju who won the first race, followed closely by Tejas GS in second place and Ashwin Pulagiri in third. In Race 2, it was Akshay Muralidharan who would cross the chequered flag in first place, while Raju finished in second and Tejas GS completed the podium. Just like the first race, it was Raju who found himself at the top of the podium in Race 3, followed by Muralidharan in second place, with Nihal Singh completing the podium. Raju’s dominance continued in the Levitas Cup with him winning Race 4, followed by Muralidharan and Tejas GS who finished the race in second and third place, respectively.

RE Continental GT Cup

The Continental GT Cup is similarly structured to the Levitas Cup with its Professionals and Amateur participant categories. When it comes to the former, it was Anish Shetty who took the win in Race 1, followed by Navaneeth Kumar in second place and Kayan Patel in third. What is interesting is that Race 2 of the Professionals category also featured the same finishing order, with Shetty in first, followed by Kumar and Patel in second and third place, respectively.

Moving to the Amateurs category, it was Johring Warisa who claimed victory in Race 1 of the Continental GT Cup, followed by Bryan Nicholas in second place and Saran Kumar in third. Warisa would go on to win the second race as well, with Nicholas finishing in second place. Brandon Dsouza completed the podium for Race 2 of the Continental GT Cup.

Novice Cup

Three races of the Novice Cup took place on this weekend and it was Bhuvan Bonu (MSport) who took the win in the first race, closely followed by Lokithlingeash Ravi (DTS Racing) in second and Abhijit Vadavalli (Momentum Motorsports) in third. Bonu continued to maintain his pace in the second race and secured another victory, with teammate Avi Malavalli finishing second and Ojas Surve (Momentum Motorsports) in third. In the third race, it was Ravi who claimed the win, while Malavalli finished in second and Prathik Ashok (DTS Racing) completed the podium in third.
