Hero Motorsports' Ross Branch finishes 5th overall in the Desafío Ruta 40 in Argentina

Hero MotoSports Team Rally, the motorsport team of the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters - Hero MotoCorp, completed the 2024 edition of Desafio Ruta 40 in a triumphant fashion. Ross Branch, who secured a podium finish in 2nd place in Dakar 2024, finished 5th overall at Desafío Ruta 40 in Argentina. Sebastian Buhler finished close behind Ross in the 7th place, and Nacho Cornejo made it to the 9th position in the Rally GP class standings. R. Brabec from Monster Energy Honda Team takes the top spot; following him are also his teammates T. Schreiner and A. Van Beveren, who finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively. 

The top 10 spots were dominated by Hero MotorSports and Monster Energy Honda Team.This was Hero MotoSport's second stint in the Desafío Ruta 40 rally. Desafío Ruta 40 is one of the toughest rallies, wherein riders clock over 3100 kms through some of the most challenging terrains of Central Argentina; the rally also encountered added challenges due to the harsh winter in the region. Team Hero MotoSports is proud to maintain their World Championship lead titles, with Ross Branch retaining his lead for the 3rd consecutive round this season.

The final round of the FIM World Rally Raid Championship 2024 – the Rallye Du Maroc - will take place in October 2024, promising another thrilling display of motorsport excellence.
