Honda to enter Indian Supercross Racing League with BB Racing
Honda will be the title sponsor for the Pune-based team in ISRL’s third season
Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) is set to enter the Indian Supercross Racing League as they have now partnered with Panchshil Realty-backed BB Racing for season three of the ISRL as title sponsors.
Now called Honda BB Racing, the team has used Honda’s motorcycles since the inaugural season of the Indian Supercross Racing League. This partnership will now formalise the relationship the team shares with Honda through HMSI. They will be using the Honda CRF450R and Honda CRF250R motocross motorcycles.
This partnership follows the announcement that Honda made earlier this year regarding their strategic shift to off-road motorsports. With BB Racing, HMSI aims to strengthen its engagement with Indian Supercross, bringing Honda’s racing heritage closer to Indian riders.
French rider Jordi Tixier will continue to ride for Honda BB Racing. His performance has been quite commendable with the team, with success in the All-Stars category.
