Mohammed Ridhaf wins the Red Bull Kart Fight National Finals 2019

The third edition of the Red Bull Kart Fight turned out to be very competitive, with the winner earning tickets to Yas Marina Circuit to witness the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The Red Bull Kart Fight entered its third edition this year with close to 9000 participants battling it out in various cities and their city finals. The qualifiers of the Red Bull Kart Fight took place at SMAASH Skykarting in Mumbai and Gurgaon from July 12 to October 6 followed by city qualifiers in Bangalore, Chennai and Baroda. However, only 23 of them made it through to the National Finals which were held at the Chicane Circuit, Hyderabad.

Out of the 23 finalists, the racers were divided into groups of three from heats to pre-finals to the final 8. After numerous battles, Kochi’s Mohammed Ridhaf came out strong, winning the Kart Fight and an all-expense paid trip to witness Formula 1 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Mohammed was also the winner of the city qualifier held in Chennai.

More than a second behind Mohammed was Delhi’s Rachit Singhal who showed immense grit in the 12 lap final race with Bangalore’s Premil Singh 2.551 second behind him. The Red Bull Kart Fight has proved to be one of the largest 4-stroke amateur karting event with more budding racers participating every year.
