Red Bull Kart Fight 2019 – National finals commence tomorrow
The Red Bull Kart Fight enters its third edition which will be held in the city of Hyderabad tomorrow. The qualification rounds took place at SMAASH Skykarting in Mumbai and Gurgaon from July 12 to October 6 followed by city qualifiers in Bangalore, Chennai, and Baroda.
Based on the fastest lap timings in the city qualifiers, the City Finals took place at the start of the months of August, September, and October where the top-20 of the previous month at SMAAASH Mumbai & Gurgaon, competed for the top three slots of the month in each city. Participating tomorrow will be the top three from each of the three months (July 12 – October 6) from Mumbai and Gurugram, along with 1 winner each of city qualifiers in Bangalore, Chennai and Baroda and two wild card entries. The 23 participants who qualified from their respective cities, will now advance to the National Finals which will take place at the Leonis Resort in Hyderabad.
What is Red Bull Kart Fight?
Red Bull Kart Fight aims to provide amateur racers and racing enthusiasts the chance to step inside the professional side of karting and get a competitive but fun experience down at the track. The Red Bull Kart Fight National Champion 2019 will win an all-expense paid trip to the grand finale of this year’s F1 Championship, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019.
