Volvo gives new face to the V40

The V40 has been the second best selling car for Volvo in global market and they have decided to give it a new face for the year 2017. The changes in the new V40 and the V40 Cross Country include the Volvo’s newly incorporated ‘Thor’s Hammer’ headlights which makes it look visually imposing and distinctive. Other exterior updates include an addition of two new colours including amazon blue and denim blue with the already existing bursting blue, mussel blue and luminous sand shades.

The V40 will also receive the new ‘rank marks’ that were first introduced on the XC90, visualizing trim levels and variants and a total of eight new wheels across the V40, R-Design and V40 Cross Country models. New upholstery called city weave will be added along with a charcoal/blond steering wheel option. Several new interior panel trims are also to be offered: milled aluminium, black grid aluminium and stealth aluminium. It will also get the new tread plates as an addition for the R-design and inscription trim levels along with an updated key fob with the new Volvo logo. Volvo has also reduced the CO2 emissions on its popular D2 manual powertrain to just 89 g/km with the full tyre program.
